Taking customer payments
Understand the service around every transaction
We can help you define what you need from a merchant-service arrangement and may introduce an appropriate provider. Coral does not process or hold customer funds.
Map the payment journey
Start with where, when and how customers pay
A countertop terminal, mobile service and online checkout solve different problems. We can help define the requirement and may introduce a merchant-service provider whose own checks, pricing and acceptance criteria apply.
Coral Utilities is not a bank, acquirer or payment processor and does not hold or transmit cardholder funds. Never send card numbers, security codes or online banking credentials through our enquiry form.
- In-person, telephone, recurring or online payment channels
- Typical transaction values and monthly volume ranges
- Need for portable terminals, integrations or multiple locations
- Current agreement, equipment ownership and end dates
Look beyond one rate
Understand the full commercial structure
Ask the provider to identify transaction charges, authorisation or gateway fees, terminal rental, minimum service charges, chargeback fees, PCI-related charges, settlement timing and contract termination terms as applicable.
Illustrations are not a guarantee of future cost. Your transaction mix and provider tariff determine the actual outcome.
Security responsibilities
Use the provider’s approved route for sensitive data
The selected provider should explain onboarding, identity checks, PCI DSS responsibilities, equipment security and incident reporting. Coral’s website is only for an initial business enquiry.
Any regulatory status belongs to the named provider and must be checked against current official records. Coral does not claim FCA authorisation on this website.
