Business energy information
Understand an existing energy account without starting a procurement request
Coral is not currently accepting or arranging micro or small-business electricity or gas contract enquiries. This page remains available for general information and existing-account support.
Current service boundary
Information and existing-account support only
Coral Utilities is not currently registered with a qualifying dispute-settlement scheme and will not solicit, accept or arrange micro or small-business energy contracts while that status remains inactive. Connectivity, merchant services and general utility account-support enquiries are unaffected.
Before comparing
Build a reliable picture of the site and contract
Understanding an existing energy account starts with accurate supply and contract information. Bills can help identify meter references, tariff structure, consumption patterns and the current supplier, but you should remove bank details before sharing them.
We also ask about renewal dates, notice requirements, operational changes and the organisation’s attitude to price certainty and contract length.
- Recent business energy bill with payment information removed
- MPAN for electricity or MPRN for gas, where available
- Current contract end date and notice information
- Expected site, opening-hours or equipment changes
When options are available
Compare principal terms, not a headline in isolation
The relevant provider should identify the unit rate, standing charge, contract length, start date, payment method, termination provisions and any other principal terms. Taxes, pass-through charges and future market conditions can affect total cost.
A business energy agreement may become binding during a telephone or electronic sales process, and there is not a general consumer-style cooling-off right. Take time to confirm the written terms and the identity of the contracting supplier.
Lower-carbon preferences
Ask what an environmental description actually covers
If renewable electricity or another environmental feature matters, ask the provider for the product evidence, fuel-mix or certificate explanation and the boundaries of the claim. Choosing a described tariff does not by itself guarantee a particular reduction in your organisation’s emissions.
We avoid broad green claims and bring any available provider documentation into the decision.

Need help with an existing utility account?
